Jacob “Jake” Cook has lived in Florida for more than a decade
and has spent half of that time sharpening his skills in the legal field.
After high school, Jake attended The University of the South in Sewanee,
Tennessee, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in economics. Jake
spent all four of his undergraduate years playing football as a starting
linebacker. He later went on to earn his J.D. from The University of Florida,
Levin College of Law.
Since graduating law school and passing the bar exam in 2015, Jake has
worked at the State Attorney’s Office of the 14th Judicial Circuit
in Panama City. During his time at the State Attorney’s Office Jake
prosecuted hundreds of cases and obtained convictions in numerous felony
On the weekends, Jake lifeguards on Okaloosa Island as Rescue 4, a passion
he has carried on since 2006.
