Cristóbal J. Orrantia

Cristóbal J. “C.J.” Orrantia is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador. In 2005, he and his family moved to Miami, where he attended high school. He then went to Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, where he majored in History and minored in Economics. After college, he attended Notre Dame Law School.
After law school, C.J. passed the Illinois Bar in 2017 and worked as a prosecutor at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, where he worked on misdemeanors and felonies. He later worked as a staff attorney for a company in Chicago. In 2022, C.J. moved back to Florida after passing the Florida Bar in 2021 and practiced insurance defense before joining Dowd Law Firm.
Throughout his practice, C.J. has learned that communication is key throughout his career. He ensures that clients are updated on their cases in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understand yet accurate on the law.
